Cet excellent article de Ian Macdonald expose tout ce que vous avez à savoir concernant la completion automatique du shell bash : tout le monde l'utilise pour ce qui est des commandes, mais savez-vous qu'elle est également simple à mettre en oeuvre pour les arguments de vos commandes. Ainsi, saisir "ssh " suivi de <TAB> vous renverra la liste des hôtes auxquels vous vous connectez, ou encore dans le cas d'un "./configure", les différentes options vous seront proposées ! Gpsy utilise tout périphérique video monté à l'aide de video4linux pour détecter une présence, un mouvement un changement et enregistre la scène au format mpeg, il permet aussi de prendre des snapshot jpg. Les fichiers sont archivés et datés, pour pouvoir être vus plus tard. Il devient tout aussi possible grace à Gspy de lancer d'autres processus sur le pc. Gspy est sous licence GPL.

The purpose of this paper is to share experience gained during the two-year work on the Information System of the Masaryk University (IS MU). The system has about 20 thousand active users, 160 application packages, 180 thousand requests per day. The system is WWW-based, built on Oracle and open source tools. We describe the gradual implementation of new features and also focus on some tricks applied, e.g. a few interesting software mechanisms for data retrieval allowing database access to ordinary users not familiar with SQL. Modern graphical user interfaces are not as usable as they are touted to be. Especially power and keyboard users are often forgotten and thus left with programs without graphical output capabilities. Mouse-based search-and-click interfaces are not efficient and while most widget-based GUIs provide keyboard shortcuts to some operations, it is not always possible to have shortcuts to everything. In addition, in most dialog layouts it is impossible to efficiently move between different controls unless with a pointing device. But as a window manager, Ion can not even try to solve these problems.
